IT'S ANGELIC APRIL
For those who follow my Facbook page you'll know that the angels have assigned me a task this month to help facilitate a greater connection with the angelic realm. Over the course of this month I'll be sharing information, tips, techniques, and resources to help you master the art of connecting with the angels.
Today we start with learning more about the angels...
There are many different beliefs out there when it comes to angels. Who they are, where they came from, what their names are, etc. There seems to be a consensus amongst certain aspects - for example, that guardian angels exist - but again, varying beliefs on how many we have, how they are assigned, etc.
I am, and will always be, an advocate for having your own beliefs. It’s the beauty of spirituality; we get to believe what feels right for us as individuals. My beliefs don’t make me right and someone else wrong. Nor do someone else’s beliefs make them right and me wrong. I believe what I believe based upon my own experiences and I encourage you to do that same. If something I share feels like it goes against what you believe, stick to what feels right for you.
In saying that however, our beliefs are always open to change. As we learn, grow and experience in life our beliefs adapt. So, over the course of the month as I share more about the angels you may read or hear something from me, or experience something yourself, that changes a belief that you once had. That is nothing to be afraid of. In fact, embrace this change if and where it happens. It’s all part of evolvement.
Again, there are many beliefs on the type of angels out there. I believe there are three main types, and these are the ones I connect with: Archangels, Guardian Angels and Working Angels.
Archangels
These angels are of the highest order. They work directly with Divine Source (God energy or whatever else you prefer to call it). Archangels are omnipresent meaning they can be in more than one place at one time so can be assisting multiple people in multiple locations. They may present to you as a masculine or feminine energy but in truth they are neither, or more accurately both. In spirit they are pure energy rather than a physical energy like we are.
Each Archangel is assigned specific duties and responsibilities and oversees other angels that work under their command. I’ll share more about the Archangels I work with and how they can help you in another blog post to come.
Guardian Angels
My belief is that we are each assigned a Guardian Angel at birth. This angel is our guiding light throughout our entire life, and although we may have other angels and spirit guides who come in and out over the course of our life journey, our Guardian Angel is our constant.
There are some who believe Archangels or passed over loved ones are Guardian Angels. I don’t believe that. I do believe that they can join our Guardian Angel to bring in any help or guidance we need at that time. I also believe that we are only assigned one true Guardian Angel, given to us at birth.
I’ll be sharing a meditation during the month to help you connect with your Guardian Angel.
Working Angels
These angels are what I call Working Angels because they are the diligent ones, working tirelessly for their cause. These angels are assigned to specific area such as peace, love, strength, courage, abundance, etc. Whenever you need support in an area you can call upon the angels of that area to assist you or to guide your way.
For those who can’t remember the names of the Archangels or what they do, calling upon the Working Angels is much easier to do. And if they need the big guns (the Archangels) to come in and help you can be assured that they will come forth for you.
I'll be sharing lots more info and tips on how you can work with each of these types of angels throughout Angelic April so do stay updated through my Facebook page.
