Have you ever been in a place in your life where you feel stuck? Maybe you feel like you’re on the right path but you just don’t seem to be going anywhere or maybe you’re just not sure you’re even on the right path. I’ve certainly been there before and as I was reflecting on this today I thought I’d write this blog to help anyone who is going through this type of situation in their life. I hope it helps!
1. DON'T WORRY
Easier said than done you may say but when you worry you are giving in to your fears, doubts and insecurities. And what happens when you focus on them? That’s right, you create them. So instead of focusing on what you don’t want or where you currently are keep your focus on what you do want , where you are going and where you want to be. As you shift your focus you will find that your life begins to shift too. It may not happen right away though so stick with it!
2. BE PATIENT
Hmm, hands up if you are patient? Some of us are and some of us aren’t but even the patient ones get put to the test sometimes. It’s important to remember that everything happens in divine timing. There is a greater plan to everything and as much as you may want things to happen now, trust in the bigger picture and know that when the time is right things will fall into place for you. The universe and the angels are on your side and always working to help you.
3. KEEP THE FAITH
This is one of the biggest ones. Regardless of how stuck you feel or how often you seem to go round and round in the same spot have faith that everything is working out exactly as it’s meant to. Believe in yourself, believe in your worth and believe that life will and is supporting you. Everything happens in cycles and sometimes you need to stop and appreciate the view from where you are and allow things to grow and expand before you can move forward to the next place.
4. ENJOY WHERE YOU ARE
Even though it can feel frustrating at times to feel like you’re not going anywhere there is a lot of beauty and joy to be found in the place where you are right now. Enjoy the down time. Use it rest, to relax, to plan, or to get ready for what is ahead when you start moving forward again. Your ability to accept where you are, to keep the faith, to be patient and to not worry will ensure your happiness now which ensures your happiness in the future too.
5. REVIEW AND EVALUATE
Use this time to review where you have been and the progress you’ve made. What have you excelled at or in? What could you improve upon? Are you doing everything you can to ensure life continues to move you forward in the direction of your hopes and goals or are your actions the reason for this halt in progress? Don’t use this as an opportunity to be critical of yourself, instead use it as an opportunity to grow and improve yourself. Pat yourself on the back for all that you’ve done and all that you’ve achieved and use that to encourage and motivate yourself to keep going despite any odds stacked against you.
Remember that this is only a temporary pause in action. Life will move forward again and you CAN achieve what it is your heart desires. Believe in yourself and believe in life. The more you believe the more you achieve!
