Monday 26 to Sunday 1 April 2018
This week’s reading was inspired by images from the Flower Therapy Oracle by Doreen Virtue and Robert Reeves. The card I’ve randomly chosen for the overall theme this week relates to setting goals. It is easy to get distracted with life and the many chores, tasks and responsibilities we each have. However, if you’re not getting the results you desire you can continue to pass blame or step up and change what is not working. Let go of what is not important right now and put your energy into what is. Be clear about what you want, set your intentions and then act upon it. If you do that, you’ll be seeing positive results in no time.
Image 1: Connect to your heart
This week the angels encourage you to connect deeper with your heart. If you’ve been closed off, now is the time to be open. If you’ve been holding on to past hurts, now is the time to release them. If you’ve been afraid, now is the time to be hopeful. Your heart is one of your greatest guides so rather than shutting off from it, connect to it. Tune in. Listen. Feel. Let it tell you what it wants and what it needs. As you learn to connect more deeply to this aspect of yourself, you not only strengthen and deepen your connection to yourself but also to spirit and to those around you – and you will have greater clarity on moving forward. There is so much love on offer for you to receive, but you must be open to it. Here is an action the angels want you to take: Close your eyes, place your hands over your heart and imagine breathing in to this space. With each inhale allow a radiant and beautiful pink energy to fill you. With each exhale, visualise any dark or grey energy being released. Repeat as often and as frequently as you need to.
Image 2: You are worthy
This week the angels remind you that there is nothing you need to ‘fix’ about yourself to be any worthier of having your heart’s desires come true. Every aspect of you comes together to make up who you are, and who you are is uniquely different to anyone else on this earth. Although there may be others who share your beliefs, share your views, or even look like you they are not you. You don’t look at rose bush and judge each rose. Although each is the same, in the fact it is a rose, each is beautiful and unique; whether it’s a bud, a full bloom, or it’s starting to lose its petals. You, wherever you are on your own personal journey are beautiful, just as you are. Learn to love and accept yourself for who you are and let go of the judgements you make upon yourself. Embrace all of you; and understand that each aspect has a role to play. If you want to create change that is perfectly fine, just remember that your worth is not dependent upon it. You are worthy right here right now, exactly as you are.
Image 3: Follow your passion
This week the angels encourage you to follow your passions. What is it that sets your heart and soul on fire? What drives you? What do you desire? Passion and desire are not something to be afraid of. They can certainly get out of control if not tamed, like a raging fire, but when contained they can fuel your life in wonderous ways. So, reconnect to what you’re passionate about and let it guide your way. Get in touch with your physical passions too. If you’re in a relationship you may want to find ways to spice things up or take the initiative to instigate passionate encounters. If you’re single and ready to mingle, but it’s been a while or you’re afraid, then reconnect with your own body first. Explore yourself and your needs and let go of any feelings of guilt or shame connected to yourself or your body. Some physical exercise would also benefit you this week, in fact anything that gets your blood moving and your heart pumping is good for you.
Image 4: Relax
This week the angels guide you to rest and relax. Although you may have a lot to do, you’ll be more productive if you give yourself a break occasionally. If your mind has been working overtime lately, calm it down. If you’re body has been stressed, relax it. If your emotions have been scattered, soothe them. Do whatever you need to do. It may be connecting more to spirit, taking time out for some self-love and care, or just changing your routine. Most important though is that you cut yourself some slack. You can’t do everything and be everything to everyone. All you can do is the best that you can, and it really does start with doing the best by you. Make yourself and your needs a priority and give yourself permission to shift from ‘doing’ to ‘being’. Appreciate what you have, be more present in your daily moments, and allow yourself to enjoy life. Remember that happiness is a choice, not a destination. Choose it this week and your journey will become a whole lot brighter.
