This week’s reading was inspired by images from the Gateway Oracle by Denise Linn. The overall theme for the week relates to getting clear about what you want and holding on to your vision. Is what you are doing really what you want to be doing? Is what you have really what you want to have? Is who you are really who you want to be? Do a little soul searching this week and once you are clear on where your truth lies start planning how you will make it happen. Every dream starts with an idea so no matter where you are on your journey the guidance is to keep moving forward in the direction you want to go in. Take one step at a time and allow yourself to occasionally stop, pause and reflect so that spirit can help guide you forward. Have faith in yourself and your vision.
Card 1: Embrace Change
This week the angels are encouraging you to embrace change in your life. Nothing stays the same and although some things remain constant (like the sun rising and setting every day) it is never in the exact same way as the day before. You are not meant to stay in one place, to be the same person or to do the same thing for your whole life. As life evolves, you evolve. So don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone or to leave who you once were behind and embrace a new and improved version of yourself. This is your time. The angels want you to beautify your thoughts, think kind things about yourself and communicate with (and about) yourself in supportive and loving ways. Embrace who you are and love all aspects of yourself, even those you judge negatively. Look at how every aspect of yourself plays a role in your life and acknowledge each one for what it does and how it serves you. Branch out this week by doing something different and allow yourself to continue to grow.
Card 2: Go with the Flow
This week the angels are advising you to go with the flow. Don’t try to control or force any situations in your life at the moment. Have faith and trust that everything is working out exactly as it is meant to be, so just let go. Follow the path of least resistance and know that anything that seems difficult or challenging for you at the moment is a sign that you are not in the state of flow. When you release and let go of the need to control the situation or the outcome and have complete faith in the universe, you’ll be steered in the direction that is right for you and your highest good. Embrace opportunities that seem to appear out of nowhere but fit in beautifully with where you are at in your life or where you want to go. Additionally, the angels are guiding you to use your intelligence and wisdom this week over your emotions. Be logical, be rational, and be truthful.
Card 3: Connect with spirit
This week the angels want you to spend more time connecting with spirit. Like charging an electronic device in a wall socket you can charge your soul by plugging in with the almighty source. You may choose meditation, you may choose prayer, you may choose random conversations, or you may choose to spend time out in nature. How you connect in isn’t as important as actually connecting so find a way that works for you. Even a few minutes a day will make a difference. This connection will not only help you to feel better about yourself but it will help to make everything so much clearer. You also open up the channels for spirit to listen and to speak back so the other thing the angels want you to work on this week is receiving. Every day affirm to yourself that you are open and ready to receive, on all levels and not just from spirit. Your openness and readiness to receive from an honest and heartfelt place will see miracles occur in your life. Accept them with open arms!
Card 4: Open the door to love
This week the angels are encouraging you to open your heart to more love. Let down the walls and barriers that you have built up. Whilst they may have served you well to protect you and keep you from getting hurt they have also stopped you from feeling and experiencing so much love and enjoyment too. Remember that the law of attraction is always at play so if you believe that you will get hurt then that’s exactly what will happen. If you believe that all men or women are untrustworthy in relationships then you’ll attract an untrustworthy person to you. So along with being more open to love the angels want you to work on your beliefs to ensure that when you let the barriers down you are only attracting the positive and loving experiences that you desire and deserve. Release and let go of all the past hurts and disappointments and hold on to hope and excitement for the possibilities ahead.
