This week’s reading was inspired by images from the Shadowscapes Tarot by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law & Barbara Moore. The card I’ve randomly chosen for the overall theme this week relates to connecting with your inner child. As we grow up and assume our adult responsibilities and experience the complexities of life we lose some of our childlike innocence and wonder. This week we are all being encouraged to connect back with that part of ourselves. Release judgement. Love without condition. Be playful. Enjoy life. Connect to what is true for you and not what others want you to be or believe.
Image 1: Take control
This week the angels guide you to take control of your own thoughts, feelings and actions. Life is about to take flight for you and you will need to have your wits about you as you fly forward and free. It is possible that whatever situation surrounds you at this time, even a positive one, will be a little testing. It is important that you stand your ground and don’t compromise on what is important but at the same time don’t lose control and let your emotions override logic and decency. Lashing out at others, or yourself, won’t make the situation any better. Cool, calm but strong energy is what will serve you best this week. Balance out your masculine and feminine energies and you will gain respect, and be more likely to have things go in your favour. In addition, do your best to work in partnership and harmony with those around you regardless of your differences.

This week the angels encourage you to follow your heart and achieve your dreams. There is something tantalising in front of you that you can almost touch but yet is still out of reach. If you have been thinking of giving up; don’t! Whilst the journey ahead still requires some tricky manoeuvring, determination and heart, it is achievable. You could find yourself going through an emotional journey, which may require you to revisit the past temporarily. This is not necessarily about reconnecting with the events or people from it, but looking back and realising how far you have come and how much you don’t want to go back to those people and places. It is time for you to rewrite your story and have the happy ending you desire and deserve. Your dreams require you to not only believe but to take action, so follow your own inner guidance and the signs from above. You will be rewarded for your efforts.

This week the angels guide you to express all aspects of yourself and your truth. You have a dark, shadow side that lives within (we all do) and often we are taught to suppress this side of ourselves because it’s ‘bad’. The reality however is that nothing is bad and nothing is good. Everything is experience and the rest is whatever we attach to it through our own beliefs, judgements, experiences and feelings. Let the darker sides emerge from you, but in a way that is not threatening or dangerous. This aspect of you is part of your individuality and rather than condemn it, love it. Love yourself, warts and all. Love others, warts and all. Allow others to love you, warts and all. Life is not always pretty but with the right mindset you can find your own beauty in places that some would never see. Don’t be afraid to share this with others and guide the way for love, acceptance and personal expression.

This week the angels encourage you to get ready for change. You are on the precipice of things transforming and shifting in your life. You will need to be flexible in many ways in order to achieve the outcomes you desire. Soon you’ll be taking a leap of faith, if you haven’t already, and this will require you to be more open minded in your thinking and your approach. Be open to the opinions and thoughts of others and put your ego aside. Do what is best for the process and the outcome, not necessarily what is best for you based solely on what you want. Look at things from a new angle and you may find answers to questions or challenges that have been plaguing you for some time. In addition, be open to asking questions this week to find out more information and to understand the reasoning and motives of others. Don’t jump to conclusions without getting the facts straight from the horses mouth, so to speak.
