Monday 5 to Sunday 11 March
This week’s reading was inspired by images from The Answer Is Simple Oracle by Sonia Choquette. The card I’ve randomly chosen for the overall theme this week relates to connecting with your spirit more than your ego. Do not be distracted by what is not working well, by your fears, by your self-limiting beliefs, or on the past. Instead, focus on happiness, joy, hope, possibilities, the present and your future. Your spirit is ready to fly high and roam free but in order to do so, you need to give it permission. Let go of whatever has been holding you back. This is your time and you deserve it!
Image 1: Have more fun
This week the angels encourage you to lighten up and have more fun. Life has been far too serious for you for far too long. It’s time to let your hair down, kick up your heels, and enjoy yourself. Access your inner child and let it shine bright. If you have forgotten how to have a good time, your inner child will soon show you the way. Let go of worrying about what other people think of you. Most of the time what you think in your head is not what they think at all, and if it is then it’s simply a reflection of them anyway. Be yourself. Be free. Play, create, dance, sing, do something different. You can certainly do things to have fun on your own, however if you do have the opportunity to join with others, go for it. It will be easier to fly free when you can ride on the energy of those who lift you up. Leave your tasks, chores, and responsibilities behind while you let your spirit free. Yes, they’ll still be there when you’re done but it will be a lot easier to get through feeling lighter and brighter!
Image 2: Mindful eating
This week the angels guide you to be more mindful with your eating patterns and processes. If you mindlessly eat or shove food down, it’s likely that you are either giving yourself a hard time about what and how you eat, or that your body is reacting with digestive related issues. The best change you can make for yourself is to become more mindful when you eat. Savour the tastes. Enjoy the experience. Make an effort with the food you cook and how you present it. Don’t only give your body a feast but your eyes and your nose too. In fact, engage all of your senses. Make your dinner setting pleasing to the eye. Go to that little extra effort, because you are worth it. Sharing food with others is another great experience so if you live with others get them to be more mindful of their eating too. There is no need to feel any sort of guilt or shame around food, especially if you learn to nourish your body more. Cook with love. Eat with love. Give thanks with love.
Image 3: Be at one
This week the angels strongly encourage you to become more at one with yourself, with spirit and with the universe. You are out of alignment and this stems from your soul being out of alignment with the great divine spirit and source. Take time for yourself. Meditate. Pray. Connect with nature. Get outdoors, sit under the stars, watch the clouds float by in the sky. Become more mindful of your present moments of now. When you take the time to consciously connect your spirit lights up, helping you to feel lighter, freer and better able to make healthy and positive choices for yourself. Even if time is an issue for you, you can always find (and choose) 5 to 10 minutes each day for yourself. Before you get out of bed in the morning or just before you fall asleep are great times if your day is simply too hectic. Any excuse not to do this is simply you continuing to create the divide between your soul and its energy source. Plug in and recharge. You’ll be glad you did.
Image 4: Make friends with your fears
This week the angels remind you that your fears are not nearly as big and scary as you imagine them to be. If you have been giving them too much power it is likely you are creating and manifesting them into reality, or at least a perceived reality, and it’s holding you back from following your heart and doing what you know you want to do. What if you instead of your fears you focus on your faith? What if instead of thinking about the past you focused on the present? What if instead of thinking about what you don’t have you focus on what you do have? What if instead of thinking about what could go wrong you focus on what could go right? It would certainly make a big difference! Embrace your personal power. Take responsibility for your thoughts and emotions. Have confidence in what you can do. Believe in yourself. When you turn your fears into faith and you let go of all that you really don’t need to worry about, you’ll be amazed by what happens.
